July 14, 2020 – Los Angeles, CA – The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is pleased to announce PSE Conquistadores as its newest Division I member.

Based in Bradenton, FL, PSE Conquistadores will begin UPSL play in the 2020 Fall Season as part of the Florida Division I. The club will host its UPSL home games at Moore Athletic Complex at Turner Field on the campus of St. Stephens Episcopal School (315 41st St. W., Bradenton, FL 34209) in compliance with UPSL National Division I standards.

UPSL Vice President Christian Vallejos said, "David Vaudrueil and PSE Conquistadores are a great addition to the UPSL. This is an individual who has won two MLS Cups as a player and coached at a professional level. David has now established a world-class academy in Bradenton. David Vaudreuil's commitment to the UPSL is just another feather in the UPSL's cap as the league continues to attract sophisticated ownership groups, investors and coaches from around the world who have significant backgrounds in the game and want to utilize the UPSL for its player development platform. We welcome David and PSE Conquistadores with open arms and look forward to a long-term relationship."

David Vaudreuil is Owner and Technical Director of PSE Conquistadores. A native of Honolulu, HI, Vaudreuil is a former professional footballer in the United States and Mexico and is one of only a handful to earn a USSF 'Pro" coaching license. "PSE Conquistadores have committed to a three-year plan to build an international level professional club and academy in Southwest Florida. In building a world-class organization, there will be a player development pathway that includes a youth academy, and international residency academy, a UPSL team and a future professional team with a stadium. The eventual stadium complex envisions training facilities and commercial real estate development on site," Vaudreuil said.

Diego Morata is Associate Head Coach of PSE Conquistadores. A former professional footballer in Spain and coach at RCD Espanyol (La Liga) and the Catalan U-14 Women's National Team, Morata is Director of Coaching at PSE Soccer/World Sport Academy Bradenton. "Our history of training, developing and transferring players throughout multiple professional structures in the U.S. and abroad is proven. We expect to continue that trend with PSE Conquistadores," Vaudreuil said. "Our technical staff includes Diego Morata, a UEFA Pro licensed coach and trainer, and we intend to add the highest level of experienced coaches that believe in our style of play and development methodology."

The PSE technical staff has coached and trained world-class players like Barcelona winger Jordi Alba, former Major League Soccer MVP Alex Pineda Chacon, Real Betis forward Juan Pablo Caffa and Inter Milan winger Keita Balde as well as numerous other international players from the United States and Spain.
